Staebell and Burger via Zoom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Absent: &nbsp;&nbsp;Beals, Leonard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors: Ed Schmidt and Brett Mangold.&nbsp; Larry Sloan via Zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Support Staff :&nbsp; Randy Rattenborg. &nbsp;Laurie Kramer via Zoom<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scherrman made a motion to approve the agenda as presented noting committee updates.&nbsp; Burger seconded the motion.&nbsp; All ayes. Motion carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A motion to approve minutes from previous meetings was made by Thompson, second by Scherrman.&nbsp; All ayes.&nbsp; Motion carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board reviewed claims from the General Fund (81000) as presented.&nbsp; Claims included utilities, maintenance contract, clerical expense, lobbyist expense, publication expense, legal expense, software updates, copier expense and dam maintenance and equipment (50%).&nbsp; Claims totaled $27,399.32 from the General Fund. &nbsp;Claims for Fund 81006 included dam maintenance and equipment totaling $19,008.37. A motion was made by Staebell, second by Burger to approve all claims.&nbsp;&nbsp; All ayes.&nbsp; Motion carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>February financial reports were presented. The General Fund received $16,824.78 in property taxes for the month and interest of $8,991.02&nbsp; Expenditures for February were $30,834.23 ending February at $2,413,989.11.&nbsp; The Debt Service Fund received $22,852.61 in property tax for the month of February and $1,719.17 in interest.&nbsp; There were no expenditures ending February at $575,718.79.&nbsp; The Dam Improvement Fund had no revenues and no expenditures ending February with a $80,000.00 balance. Grant Fund (81006) had revenues of $1,167.30 in interest and $23,824.25 in expenditures ending February with a balance of $261,325.82.&nbsp; A motion was made by Staebell, second by Scherrman to receive and file the February financial report.&nbsp; Althoff noted that projects funded by Grant 81006 should be completed and invoiced by the April 30, 2025 due date.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; All ayes.&nbsp; Motion carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trustees reviewed a request for reimbursement from the Delhi Fire Department for their cost to rent a slip for their rescue boat at Hartwick Marina in the amount of $2,700 for the 2025 season.&nbsp; It was noted that the Trustees approved payment for the 2024 season in November of 2024 for the same amount.&nbsp; There was some discussion regarding asking the fire department to do a controlled burn at the dredge site.&nbsp; Burger stated he would contact Tony Harmon with the fire department to see if that would be possible.&nbsp; He will also ask about a burn in an area around the dam.&nbsp; Staebell made a motion to approve payment to the fire department that is not dependent on the burn request.&nbsp; Scherrman seconded the motion.&nbsp; All ayes.&nbsp; Motion carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Althoff updated the Trustees on the next agenda item which was to approve a quote for an electric hot water power washer.&nbsp; After discussion with a Hotsy provider he was told the purchase was not recommended.&nbsp; Althoff made a motion to table, second by Staebell.&nbsp; All ayes.&nbsp; Motion carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Committee Updates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Water Quality, Legislative &amp; Community Events \u2013 No new updates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dredge \u2013 Staebell plans to set up a committee meeting in May<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dam Operations &amp; Property Management \u2013 Althoff noted that he had received a letter from the DNR asking to schedule a dam inspection this year.&nbsp; Kramer has been in contact with the DNR to schedule the inspection.&nbsp; Althoff noted dam projects to be completed that are funded by Grant 81006 include work on actuator installation, hydro-gates and resurface of powerhouse deck.&nbsp;&nbsp; Burger stated he\u2019s looking for fencing contractors for the fencing project.&nbsp; Burger also had a visit with Rich Hughes regarding putting a permanent stage at Lost Beach.&nbsp; All materials and labor would be donated.&nbsp; Burger will follow up with more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finance &amp; Budget \u2013 Burger stated he has been in touch with PDCM regarding obtaining property insurance coverage.&nbsp; He hopes to have something to bring to the April meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Public Comment: Brett Mangold was present to discuss the possibility of generating electricity at the dam to mine bitcoin.&nbsp; There was a lot of discussion regarding the history of the dam when it did generate electricity and how deregulations made it too expensive to continue.&nbsp; Althoff suggested he take a tour of the dam and do more investigation before the Trustees would be able to consider any type of request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s noted that Staebell left the meeting at 5:25 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A motion to adjourn was made by Thompson, second by Scherrman.&nbsp;
