Wednesday, November 13, 2013 \u2013 6:30 p.m. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Maquoketa Valley Middle School Conference Room<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Delhi, IA<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting of the Combined Lake Delhi Recreational Facility and Water Quality District Board of Trustees was called to order by President Steve Leonard at 8:13 PM at the Maquoketa Valley Middle School Conference Room.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Trustees present: Leonard,\u00a0 Kramer, Davidson, Kray, Schneider, Gifford and Burger by phone<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Trustees absent:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Visitors: Larry Peter, Eve Peter, Diane Bauers <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The agenda was reviewed by Leonard. Motion made by Davidson to approve agenda, Gifford second, all ayes, motion passed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Public comment \u2013 Larry Peter indicated he thought he heard that $200,000 or more was available to the County for the state marine tax grant. Kray said the $200,000 was the total amount in the fund but there will be other cities and counties requesting from that fund as well.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Diane Bauer said the bridge has been in the County 5 year plan for a long time and feels that it is the County’s responsibility to fund that. Davidson added that he has been happy with reaction of all the Supervisors and the DNR personnel during our meetings regarding public access.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Motion to go into closed session for the purpose of discussion regarding terms for acquisition of property and property rights for purposes of restoring the land and Dam per Iowa Code Section 21.5 (1) (j) by Gifford, Kramer second.\u00a0 Individual roll call requested, all ayes, motion passed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After closed session, motion to adjourn by Gifford, Kramer second.\u00a0 All ayes, motion passed.\u00a0 Meeting adjourned at 8:54 pm.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
